What is septoplasty?

Septoplasty is the surgical procedure in which the air passages of the nose are flattened and the cartilage inside the nose is changed. Septum is a structure mostly made out of the cartilage found on the middle of the nose. In these procedures, deviated parts of septum are removed. When this cartilage is standing straight, air is also flowing properly.
